About Emma
Emma L. Anderson is a Chicago based actor, writer, and educator. She caught the theatre bug at the tender age of 9 and it was all downhill from there. A few years later, when she was 12, Emma insisted on performing and directing her friends in a full fledged production of Wicked in her backyard.
Though it was a chilly November night, the performance was met with universal acclaim from her frostbitten parents and noise complaints from the neighbors. Though nothing in her adult career could ever top that, Emma has made an effort to expand the lofty horizons of that diligent 12-year-old.
Emma received her BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020 (great time to graduate!) and has studied at the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center and the Second City Conservatory. She has also received accolades from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for devising and performing her original work “Roundtrip.
When not onstage or on-set, Emma has worked with kids ages 5-17 on all things theatre, public speaking, acting and fun.
Emma is currently represented by Babes N Beaus Talent Agency!
